sure keeks will check it out.
when i was in Delhi i was at the Markaz for a day and the amount of women that were there for 40 days/ 4 months was just amazing. there was like a small group doing Taleem in Farsi, then the other doing it in Malay and the biggest group doing it in Urdu.
They were reading from this kitaab called "Muntakhab Ahadith" which is really good Mashallah. bought one from there too. But the woman was telling me to go 40 days i was like "i aint even been 3 days man" and shes like " well sit here with the intention of Jamaat and at the end you can say you have been for Jamaat even if it was for a day". She was so sweet bless her.

i'v been for 3 days a few times, and 10 days a couple of times.
i Know my six points in urdu and english,it's quite easy to learn actually, just needs some dedication.
i have a couple books on it too, will check the names asap inshAllah.

Note: six points don't have to be long and full of stories etc. the best is to keep it short and simple (its what the ulama recommend) but with some pointers that are interesting and thought consuming. don't attempt to learn it word by word from a book, stick to your own words and don't make it TOO formal as well.

Yes the six points of Tabligh.

Six points is not like the 5pillars of Islam, which of course every Muslim believes in.
The six points of Tabligh are merely actions etc that a Muslim should bring into his/her life.

will post details later.

Hmm...wouldn't that be Bid'ah to introduce 6 points into one's Deen? Ain't the Qur'an and Sunnah of our Beloved Messenger Muhammad (SAWW) enough? smile.gif

of course its not bid'ah
and of course the Quran and Sunnah is enough; the pointers of the six points of Tabligh come from the Sunnah after all laugh.gif

The six points:
Kalima/Iman: Our belief should be firm that 'there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his Messenger. Basically meaning we should not commit shirk and that we should follow Islam according to the Quran and Sunnah.

Salah: we should establish Salah as it is one of the 5 pillars of Islam.

Ilm and Dhikr: To gain knowledge is Fardh in Islam. We should gain knowledge and learn all about Islam, the do's and don'ts etc. We should do Dhikr so that Allah comes to our mind before every act.

Ikraam Al-Muslim: It means honoring our Muslim brothers and sisters. W e should respect our Muslim brothers and sisters and treat them well.

Ikhlaas: It is our sincerity towards Allah. Whatever we do should be only to please Allah.

Da'wah & Tabligh: It is our duty to invite and convey and teach Islam to people in the World. Just as the prophets were sent to mankind, and just as the sahabas, for example hadhrat Mus'ab Bin Umair were sent to new Muslim tribes to teach Islam by the Prophet, we should also teach Islam.

Those are the six points,(very breifly summarised) nothing to do with Bid'ah in them eh?
