Things People Say To You That Irk Options

I just thought I'd do a seperate thread from Bintys "things people say to you" that concentrates more on the less cheerful things that irk you.
So, what things that you hear often that irk/irritate you?

Oh my dear... what could irk me *scratches her temple*

"Worse can happen, suck it up" (when I am dying of pain due to my IBS)



Another one is "You over-think!" -- err, no, I'm thinking, try it out some day too -_____-

"Stop reading books, experience is more important" <<< seems like you never experienced reading a good book yet And everyone experiences things, just differently!

"The world owes me SOOO much" -- NO! Contrary to popular belief, the world doesn't owe you anything automatically! -_____-

"what's wrong" -- nothing....
5 mins later.."are you sure nothing's wrong"-- yes
"cause you can tell me if something's bothering you."...

"So when do you want to get married?" <<< when you're not looking!
"Why are you studying Masters for? You'll reach expiration for marriage"... BOOOHOOOO.

"Everything happens for reason" <<< except, it doesn't!!!

Two close-minded statements that irks me:
"Science is inhumane. It never helps the world"
"Religion is the only cause of wars"

"Don't question authority" <<< never did, just using my own head -___-

I can't that think of many, which is odd because people do tend to annoy me. Lol

When the kids say 'miss, I was here!!' when I send them to the back of the line for pushing. really? I just saw you flippin cut in, move it kid.

Similar to bintys, when people say 'there are people worse off in the world.' yes I am aware of that, am I not allowed to be selfish once in a while and worry about my own problems? Gah!

When people say, 'good morning' on a Monday morning. It is a Monday, and it's 8am. What's good about it? I hate mornings.
That's all I can think of, must be lack of sleep.

Today mum said to me "You're going red," and i was munching on cereal and i looked up at her and touched my cheeks and they were burning. Then i looked at her and she was glaring at me.
Then she goes... "Why are you blushing?"

All i could think of was... "I'm healthy,"

So it's a setting where I'm the guest at a relative's house...

Relative: "You've gotten really tall!"

Me: "You said the same thing years' ago" (so I've not gotten any taller) -_____-

Relative: "Where did you buy your clothes from?"

Me: "The store?"

... and the shallow conversation ends right there.

Sigh.

Lol.

I dont often get upset by words but by tone. Latest example:

I've revamped my facebook profile and get a message from someone who's not spoken to me in years. He says "please tell me u havnt convertd to islam. mate r u sure u no what ur getting urself into." Men

And I get irked by people telling me to take my scarf off. It's my head, not theirs: if they dont like it then look elsewhere lol.

I get irked by the sort of people that 'diss' religion, especially when they dont know what they're talking about lol.

The biggest irker is from people who are trying to force a person to change things about themselves from personality traits to views. lol.

I could probably go on longer lol.

My "favorite" phrase is "What's new?". When I hear it I forget about all interesting things that have happened to me recently.
