Hi,
First of all a little word about myself. I'm not religious but i'm very interested in the thoughts of people who are. I'm a 21 yo student from belgium. As i've lived my life without any prayers or another lifestyle because of religion, it turned out pretty well for me. So i have some questions for people who do practice this other religions.
I just want to know a bit more about you and i don't want to be offending in any way.

First question is: Why can someone who doens't believe in any religion, doens't pray, etc, have a good and happy life? This may seem an odd question, but why do people change their whole lifestyle in order to get a good and happy life, if its just up to yourself?

Second question: Someone who believes is trying to change their whole life i order to go to 'heaven' after they are dead. Why can't someone who doens't believe get there? No one is certain of its existence, and no one will ever know this in the time we live. I know that that's the essence of a religion, but i can't impose that lifestyle to myself when i don't know what is going to happen with is after that. By saying that, does that make me a 'sinner'?

There are many things i don't understand and i can make a list with 100 questions, but i don't think that would change my doubts about everything.

Again these questions are not meant to be offending in any way, its just my view on life and i'm trying to understand the view of my fellow people.
