Mormon And Jehova, what is the difference, what defines these two sects Options

I don't kno what happened! I am still trying to get used to this forum and how to do it...

I guess what I was trying to say, it has been a few says now, is that I was a Southern Baptist and Jws and Mormons are not considered by the main stream denominations of Christianity as "Christians". They are called Cults. This was never a good word.

If you ever speak with a Missionary, they will give you Generic answers. Once you get in, you find out all the weird stuff. o_O

Both Mormonism and Jehovah Witness are perverse anti-Christian cults (I RARELY use that word btw). As the ExMormon said, Mormonism is a deceptive religion - its in its nature, since it's modeled on Freemasonry (Joseph Smith, founder of Mormonism was murdered by Freemasons for adapting Masonic practices to Mormon worship). Most of the members of Mormonism are innocent and don't even really know what their religion OFFICIALLY teaches. But some basic beliefs are like :God was once a man, and he became God (impossible and blasphemous), when you die you become the god of your own earth, Africans and other dark-skinned people are such because of God's punishment, there were highly advanced civilizations in North America in prehistory, etc.

Jehovah Witness is just stupid. They have nothing backing their argument at all.

Ugh. I don't blame the Missionaries because they are doing what they think is right, but I want to just scream everytime I see one nowadays. The LDS faith on the surface seems like anyother Christian church, but the more you learn, the groovier it gets. Thats seriously the only word that comes to mind. The more you learn about the Prophet (Joseph Smith), the more you realize he was a con-man that only wanted to please himself. I can honestly say that the LDS Faith is a blackhole for Converts. It's hard to leave, especially if you get too involved. Luckily for me I still had other Religions on my mind as I went in. Beautiful Temples though. Still groovy looking.

I know what you mean. I personally know many devout Mormon families, since I live in a very Mormon dense area. They are all very nice, but their religion is "groovy" as you put it.

Both Mormons and J.W.'s can get you into little traps if you aren't guarded against them which is why they are so successful I think.
