According to this guy, many Americans agree with Rod Parsley who said that Islam is an anti-Christ religion. How true is this?

How is Islam the anti-christ when we believe in Jesus (peace be upon him) and love and respect him? Anyone who believes this is uneducated and ignorant, in my opinion.

I believe the comments made by Rod Parsley have been misunderstood. When he said that Islam is an anti-Christ religion, he did not mean that Islamic people simply do not believe that Christ existed. You do not believe that Christ is the Son of God who died to save you from your sins. The Bible says that anyone who is not for Christ is against Christ (Matthew 12:30). In that sense Islam is anti-Christ. It is not enough to merely believe He was a real person or just a great prophet. You have to confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).

According to what you said, all religions are the anti-christ, not just Islam.

Not 'the antiChrist'.... that will be a person, not an entire religion.

But, yes... Any religion that does not recognize Christ as their Lord and Savior would be considered 'anti-Christ'.

What exactly does (pbuh) mean??

America was not founded with the intent to destory Islam. It was founded with the intent to get away from religious persecution! England had a tendency to change its religion every time a new king or queen was coronated. His/Her subjects had to submit to the same relgious beliefs.

Okay~ So in your eyes we are anti-christ...however in my/our (fellow muslims) eyes we are just following the truth~which is christ being a messenger (and a good one) but NOT the son of god-bcz god is too gr8 to have a mortal son-that is what we believe smile.gif

You are allowed to have your opinion.... That is why it is called free will. wink.gif

I not only believe that Jesus is the Son of God, but I also believe that Jesus is God.

John 1

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Yea, it is true especially in the hill billy redneck southern areas.

However, is Islam anti-Christ? No way! How can Islam be anti-Christ when we beleieve him to be one of the greatest messengers of God, we bellieve in his miraculous birth, we believe him to be messiah, and we believe that he gave life to the dead by God's permission and he healed the blinds and leppers with God's permission.

The only difference is that we do not believe in the divinity of Jesus. And, the truth is that he is not God. Because if he was, then he wouldve said it himself that he is God and that we should worship him. Even in the bible, all 66 books of bible and/or the 73 of the roman catholic, not even a single verse in which Jesus himself says I am God or worship me.

So, now who is closer of Jesus? Muslims? or Christians? Quite clearly, Islam and Muslims are closer to Jesus AS.gif, than these people to claim to be his followers.

You quoted a verse that has been mistranslated from the original greek. The correct translation of the verse is as follows:

“In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was Divine”

This translation can be found in the "new world translation" of the Bible.
QUOTE

I am quite sure that you, just like all muslims and christians believe that whenever God wanted to create something, He would use his command to do so.

Now if we look up the term “the word”, it is “logos” which means the spoken word, command. If John wanted to write “Jesus”, why would he write “Logos” instead? There is no record of Jesus ever being addressed as “Logos” by any one in the New Testament.
