Marriage With Jesus, in christianity do women think they are going to marry jesus (as) Options

hi all !!!

ive got friends who are christian but ive never really got a chance to ask them properly but ive heard that christians beleive this, is it true?
do christians believe that jesus will come and marry the women coz in christianity women arnt suppose to get married and they cut off their hair really short aswell??
ive got a friend called alison who is christian weve known her since we were little but shes never got married, she never drinks and she never goes clubbing ever so is this true ?

What?!? Women are supposed to keep their hair long, stay inside, and cover their heads inside churches, get married and have a lot of kids (at least that is how it is in Catholicism). No, we do not believe that Jesus Christ will marry.

Celibacy is superior to marriage. Drinking is fine in moderation. Clubbing is a mortal sin. You'll go to Hell for sure if you go to dances and stuff like that.

I believe that you have heard of the marriage of Christ. The belief is not that women will marry Jesus. If you can think Christian like for a second, it means that the followers of Christ will join Him in the Kingdom and rule with Him as joint heirs. Both men and women who follow Christ.

I think the only group of people that claim Christianity and treat the women in such a way are perhaps the Jesuits but the key word was "claim Christianity". Women should have a modest appearance, but that doesn't mean they have to cut their hair short.

I agree with Rex; while you may find her behavior strange, Alison is probably in a better standing with God than most women. But that doesn't mean she is forbidden to marry.
Nor does it mean that she and all other Christian women will literally marry Jesus. Though if she is a Jesuit she might believe something like that.

But is it not true that Jesuits abstain from marriage, both men and women? Usually when someone speaks of the Jesuits they speak of an order with more power than the traditional Catholic Church. Which brings up another question:

Black pope? I am not sure. There have been many popes in the history of the Catholic Church that certainly had dark skin though. The Middle East and Africa was a stronghold of Catholicism until the advent of Islam.

Those who enter into the Jesuit order (or any other Catholic order, for example the Dominicans or Cistercians) usually take a vow of chastity (celibacy), poverty, and obedience. Its not that big of a deal. The Jesuit order is now nonexistent, as all modern men claiming to be Jesuits are a outrageous heretics and a disgrace to St. Ignatius.

Its pretty complicated, but I can go into finer detail if you want (orders, third orders, monks and nuns, consecrated religious, priests, bishops, patriarchs, popes, etc)

I was referring to the black pope theory that New World order theorist speak of. A man who is of the Jesuit order and holds a position that makes him more powerful than the world renown pope.

But I am getting at the fact that there is a "Society of Jesus" or Jesuit order in the world today, and I don't think they are called heretics by the pope or other accepted Catholic leaders.

Maybe you can enlighten me later, but I really don't agree with the "government" of the Catholic Church.
