Tell us what you love about your country/countries. Feel free to post as many times as you need, if something randomly pops in your head.

I love America for many reasons, and I probably won't get it down in one post, and may not make much sense, but whatever.

I love how we are just different from everyone else. We live different, we speak differently, everything is varied somehow from other cultures.

I love how friendly we can be, and I love the fact that idiots can speak their minds, so that we may ridicule them.

I love how our populous has the ability to choose to be an idiot at one moment, but extremely intelligent at another.

I love how we still have the chance to become successful without a formal education, no matter how f***ing hard it is to do it.

I love the patriotism our country shows over all. WE are Americans, we who descend from the greatest and the worst of the world. And you know what, in the same way it divides us, it also unites us as a people. We revel in our heritage, maybe not always as a society, but every individual here looks back with pride, or at least respect, on their cultural heritage. And we can laugh at jokes aimed at them.

I love the fact that we are able to live so well, and that we DO give money to poorer nations, and help to build them.

I love our history, so rich in so little time, the mere trillisecond that we have existed on this earth as a nation.

I love our love of the underdog.

I love our tolerance, and our intolerance of domestic intolerance.

I love American Metal! (Even if the British have more famous bands... JUDAS PRIEST!)

I love our sports, as they are purely our own.

I Love Football especially, because of the Honor, the Discipline, the struggle for someone undersized and less athletlic such as myself to become a success story on the field, an incarnation of the American dream, which is that Hard Work, Struggle, and toil can lead to success, if you have the drive to attain it.

And of all these, I love that American Dream. Without it, we are not American. African Americans struggled through slavery and prejudice to win their rights and freedom, women won the right to vote and an equal standing in society, and the U.S.A has struggled, sometimes successfully, sometimes not, to make the world a better place. And you can't ask for more than that.

Peace, until I think of more things.

hey kelly and saira my home girls, say more stuff!

What I like about my country- our summer time because we get the sun after aaaaggggeezzzzz.
our football (soccer) culture
Erm... multi-cultural
red buses- haha we have blue buses in Birmingham and theyre okay-ish
There are more pizza joints than ever these days in my local area so thats another good thing.
I like the countryside and peaceful towns near my city such as Ludlow
Our accents unsure.gif
The Queen (though I hardly notice her existence in our country most of the time unless she comes on the news report or whenever i look at the pound notes laugh.gif )
We are totally crazy and the fact that we drive our cars on the left lane instead of the right proves it! tongue.gif
It's a tiny island and I feel that wherever I go in the UK, I will feel at home!

I can't think of anything else right now!

Let me guess, you want to vote Obama, Hillary, or Edwards, right? well all they're gonna do is infringe even more on those rights. And god forbid they impose that 40%tax rate that they think is somehow benefitting the French and other European countries.
