Why cant sunni and shia get along to together at the end of the way sunni do what they have to do and shia do what they do Allah say Himself I can forgive every mistake of human but never the mistake of associating gods with me or worshipping other gods than Me?

when you learn to respect each other...no matter what they are..things will eventually stop....the fighting will stop etc...

You look at the number of similarities we have, and you will realize how similar we are. When you put aside misconceptions and stereotypes, you will see that Shi'a and Sunni are interchangable in MOST ways. We do have differences, but they are nowhere near the differences between Catholicism and Protestantism. People seem to think that we've been fighting one another for thousands of years, when really, that isn't the case at all. The most brutal inter-faith fighting to ever happen was after Luther's revolt - for 150 years Protestants and Roman Catholics tore eachother apart.

What's going on in Iraq right now is circumstance, mixed in with people wanting to fill the power vacume that will be left behind. People have been dividing us for hundreds of years. Do you think the American government or the British or the Zionists want to see a united Umma? They don't even want a united Arabian peninsula. If we stick together, we would be a force - just like we once were. Both sects are integral and both worship no one but God. The authorities on both sides recognize each other as being integral and very Muslim. Let's not listen to radical fringe groups who want to tear us apart.

May God bless every Muslim, inshallah, whether they are Sunni, Shi'a, or otherwise.
