yeah looks are not the most important part of marriage (character and deen comes first) but they DO count, deny it or not.

errr... being the lazy slob that i am.. i cannot imagine it but i know marriage is something that I want to get into and it seems sooner than i thought. Allahu Alam.

Iman, Din, Taqwa, Haya these are things your spouse should have.

Who cares what they look like.
What will looks do you on the day of judgment.
A marriage Based on looks will Fail when they fade.

Syntax is important, The usage of Pronouns, Word Order, Thats Important.
As much as people use 'u' instead of 'you' or just flat out spell words wrong, people really should harp about accidentally pressing a letter thats RIGHT NEXT TO the letter you intend to press.

Main Point is:

Marriage is half of your Din.(that is of course if you marry for the right reasons)
Din, or Deen, (transliteration issue)Is your Path, Way of Life, or Religion.
Meaning: Al-Mustaqim, or the straight path, taught to us in Surah AL Fatiha, is the Way to ALLAH(SWT).
Marrying for the right reasons makes it harder for you to stray. It also means that your halfway there.
