Yup there are many tribes within balouchistan, some tribes are completely different in family terms. Over the years all sorts of people have arrived and even settled within this region. One of the most recent settlers (excluding recent mohajirs) were the kurds who arrived from persia i think...

Pakistan is a Muslim country and the meaning of Pakistan is "LA ILAHA ILLALLAH" (God is one). The national language of Pakistan is Urdu and It has four province. I m from Karachi (the biggest city of Pakistan).

And u can ask any question related to Pakistan.

I thought Pakistan meant "Land of the Pure" (H.R.T.)

Well that's what it means, but what I think real_girl meant was the motto or national saying of Pakistan.

I know what you mean sami, it's always the case with my family. They've been intending to go for two whole years now so I decided to arrange the trip myself (just my elder brother and I will go for three weeks). Three weeks is probably not enough, but I guess it's alright.

30 or more? I hope you mean Celsius lol.

And how can one possibly support Musharraf with his declaration of war upon the Muslims of Waziristan and pledge to support the crusaders in their "War on Terror"? Keep in mind he also destroyed a Masjid- it is Waajib to invoke the curse of Allaah Subhanahu wa Ta'aala upon the one who not only desecrates a destroys a place for Allaah's worship, but who fights against the Muslimeen Wa'l Mujaahideen in his own country!

Not like the late Benazir Bhutto (PPP) and Nawaz Sharif are any better. None of those who ran seemed to have any interest in imposing Shari'ah- Allah subhanahu wa Ta'aala even says in the Qur'an that one who does not rule the Muslims by the Shari'aah of Allaah Subhanahu wa Ta'aala is a disbeliever. So how can any of the candidates, whether they oppose Musharraf or not, live with themselves- if they are indeed true Muslims?

I hope that Allaah, Revealer of Kitaballah Al-Qur'an, shall guide us all and make us victorious as He Almighty has promised us in the Revealed Book which he delivered to His Rasul, Muhammad Al-Mustafa (Salla Allahu 'alaihi wa Sallam).

Also, a couple of other memories are the kids playing cricket and other games on streets in every block; they'd spend time like that even as far as until sunset kicks in. And people selling food and other things on streets too...they shout out what they're selling.

The adhaan (call for prayer) is recited in the district at Fajr.

About the people, well for one thing hospitality goes to great length because it determines one's status or reputation in the family, community and such (apparently). So even though Pakistan struggles to make ends meet as a developing society it enjoys serving and entertaining guests due to the strong traditional and tribal foundations. So they're likely to spend alot on cuisine. That said, food is always promising, is why in the other Pakistan thread everybody mentioned food lol.

Back to power outages and mosquitoes wacko.gif
