Yup, power outages happen very often now. The fans go out so you have to sit there in the boiling heat.

I remember playing cricket, and always hitting the ball over into the next house.

Watching people fly kites, i tried but failed miserably.

And yes, the mosque was right next door to us so the azaan was nice and loud for us. We could sit on the roof and look out onto the mosque where the men would pray.

Ah, the people selling food on the street, with their little kebab markets and selling rice etc. Oh and when you brought a bottle of drink, like Pepsi or 7up, u have to drink it and give the bottle back, because they were glass bottles, so they used them again.

Ahh memories....

You said it all sami. That also reminds me of going out in the evenings with my Uncle and Aunts - the food stalls, giving away aroma. The evenings were good cuz all day it'd be so warm, so you're looking forward to a calmer evening.

When the electricity goes out, it's hell, don't know when a creature is lurking about and you have to use those hand-held fans.

Yeh, it's best not to go during the really hot season. Try December/January, or even February.

Yes! Of course! There is like lil stalls everywere! Or people just get a cloth lay it out put out their.. (e.g) pots and pans and try an sell but food is a biiig thiiing very cheap too!
But we never bought meat, simply because it was not hygienic AT ALL, so if my dad did bring it he would like be there when it was killed and bring it straight home

In the shops flys would sit on it and.. >.<

I love open air markets. I refuse to by meat in them though just for the same reason you have said Saira. Sounds cool.

Yes we must flee there soon silly billy lol.

Yeh I enjoy the balcony during evenings. I'm amazed at how much I remember the experience cuz the last time I been to AK and Pakistan was at the age of 12.

I really want to go to Pakistan! Have never been there.. but I've been impressed by how religious and pious the Pakistanis I know are. Alhamdulillah 75% of Pakistanis expressed support for the Mujaahideen and for Shari'ah Law, Pakistan is getting so much better in the area of Imaan and Deen.
