ok i know virtually NOTHING about pc's so i really need someones help

i have decided to create a computer and i have a problem

i got a intel core 2 duo 2.4ghz 4mb 1066mhz fsb and a motherboard that says it can support it.

whenever i try to turn my pc on it turns on for about 3 seconds and then shuts itself down.

i have tried using a different graphics card, ram, and even a more powerful power box.

i also used a different motherboard to see if it was my motherboard but the same problem still occured

then i went to get my processor checked and apparently it was fully working

do you know what the problem could be?

Find another forum that can help you with this.

A PC technical problems kind of forum. Good luck.

Do you have a power supply that is adequate to support your setup?
