Exactly. Ever heard of sacrifices? How are you going to appreciate your deen and your family unless you sacrifice some things?

When the Sahaba went to battle, or journeyed to spread Islam they left there wives and children behind with sufficient money etc. Because they are going out in the path of Allah, and Allah will protect the family of him who is out in the Path of Allah.

My Mum will miss my dad, and he'l miss her and the rest of us, but he has a duty. The Prophet peace be upon him said in his last sermon, go out and spread Islam. what better than to heed his words and gain reward? yes he will miss us, but he's not going for a wild holiday, but he's going to teach Islam, to give Dawah, which is fardh on a Muslim.
Yes, she will miss him, but at the same time shes happy that her husband is going out in the path of Allah. this world is transitory. I will miss my Dad, but i am immensely proud of him, that at the age of 60 he still goes out in Jamaat just to please Allah and his Messenger.

After all, what are we Muslim for?

plus, my mum goes with my dad to masturaat jamaat quite a few times.
