I was surfing the web yesterday, when I came upon some documents regarding the 9/11 attack on the twin towers.

One of these documents, is the last Valid announcement of Usama bin Muhammad bin 3ayad bin Ladin.

I also have the Analysis done by vocalist of other "Osama" tapes...

Last Month the case came up in an Australian trial as well.

All of them are acting on the assumtion that he did it.

The FBI can't even say he did it.

Oh P.S. a fatwa IS an opinion.

It's a more formal ruling than just an opinion though, that's why I kept it seperate. Some of those take into account other atrocities than just 9/11 as well.

I'm stressing that the fatwa is an opinion mainly for the fact that in the quran the people can't just condemn a man for something he denies.

These people did what they did probably because they felt thy had to because of mounting pressure from the media.

Yet every single one of them goes on the assumption that he committed the 9/11 attacks when he said 3 times he didn't do it.

The muslim already have our rules, a fatwa is an opinion on some event in the world and why its good or bad based on our rules.

Since Islam lacks an Absolute ruler, or Central Authority beyond quran, Fatwa's vary all the time.

I only looked at the Muhajabah link, so I will say the impression I got from that site. I have been on that site before- regardless of what the issue is, whoever runs that site does not seem to have a lot of 'Ilm regarding Islaam- our Deen, our Manhaaj, our Aqidah. All the scholars, if you can even call them that, are known to harbor negative views towards anyone who stands up for the Sunnah and exercises Jihaad fi Sabeelillah- especially Hamza Yusuf and Khaled Abou El-Fadl. They also had articles from laypeople from among the Ummah- whereas it is of course possible for a non-Shaaykh to have knowledge of Islaam, these people did not seem to be well-informed on the duties of Qitaal, Jihaad, etc. and therefore the entire article was unrealiable. I could debate these guys all day, and they still wouldn't listen.

I've just learned something I have never heard before from the Juan Cole link. Thank you very much, Chailvr. I learned that there is condemnation for Osama within the Muslim world. Thank you for giving me knowledge that I previously did not have. I mean it.

So I'd take it your not very familiar with google huh?

The point of this thread is that he's innocent, not that people some people 'condemn' him.

No mater how much information is out there, some people still wish to close their minds eh?

Interviewer: You mean he does not want to kill Muslims.

Omar Bin Laden: He does not want to kill Muslims or even innocent [non-Muslims], but the things is that the politics...

Interviewer: He does not want this? Are you saying he was forced to do this? I don't understand.

Omar Bin Laden: No, he even forbids these acts...

Interviewer: But he did this.

Omar Bin Laden: Where exactly did he do this? Tell me where, so I can explain the situation to you.

Interviewer: Do you think that Sheik Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda have nothing to do with 9/11?

Omar Bin Laden: My father is connected to it, as he himself admitted. We heard it on the news. But I personally do not agree with the killing of civilians anywhere...

Interviewer: Omar, that's your personal opinion, but Osama Bin Laden did these things.

Omar Bin Laden: But the question is why he did those things. You would like to know his perspective, wouldn't you?

This is a clip from a t.v interview with the son of Osama Bin Laden. For more Click Here

Even his own son says he did it.

1)Islam condemns the killing of innocent people.
2) Whoever did 9/11 ceases to matter.

We as muslims do not abandon the truth, 9/11 was a horrible act.

The End.

Confessions take precedence over that rule. And I've heard both sides, theres been members on here that condone 9/11. It's gone beyond that though and at this point, killing Osama wouldn't really matter in the scheme of things.

He didn't confess he said the opposite.

To Juan: Umar bin Usama hasn't seen his father since 2000.
He heard it 'through the news'

He's as reliable as FOX News at this point.
