Ive been thinking about this for the past few weeks now.

Lets say you were sitting inside a diner reading a newspaper or looking outside the window, when all of a sudden a waitress trips over and spills seering hot coffee / tea all over your leg, causing you to scream out in pain \'Ahhhhhhh\' and drop whatever you have in your hands. You carry on shouting \'Ahhhhhhhh\' because the boiling hot coffee / tea is on your clothing so it continues to burn into your skin.

Would you casually pay up and leave (pretending your fine, whilst limping), or would you do something else? smile.gif

UH NOO!! simple.. if you live in the states you can just sue the place.. you get hurt.. you get paid.. plus they won't even dare asking you about paying!! I'll be like crying and I'll just say I'll go to the ER.. and leave!

the poor waiter would get fired or something.. but life is full of experiences smile.gif

oh yah they'll have to pay for my dry cleaning for my outfit..

lol Thats interesting! How much money, would you be looking at? What about if the waitress spilt ice cold juice all over you, and it went down your shirt collar. Would you still be able to sue them? smile.gif

I've had that happen to me in England once, when I was younger.

I always wear skitrts so the danage was minamisied by being ablt to move ther hot fabric away with speed and keep it out of the way til it cooled. Then I help the lady clean up the spillage, laughed about how accidents happen (she felt horrid poor thing), filled in the accident book with the manager all red faced bless and got a free cup of tea lol. Win, win i think. After all, accidents happen.

Assalamu alaikum (Peace be upon you)
