depend on my thought about general Turkish people I believe they open minded and friendly compare to other Arabian family, so you don't need to be worried about that issue,
but you need to believe in yourself and to be patient, Also try to discover the islam religion step by step with a pure heart to be satisfied with it, don't be so rush or scared happy.gif

PS: boyfriend sound a harsh for a Muslim guy (in my opinion)

good luck

Make sure you learn Islam sincerely, and not with the intention of marrying a muslim. smile.gif

don't convert for the wrong reasons...judging by ur post it seems like it's just to be with ur bf, and that shall not be accepted in Islam. but only God knows what's in ur heart so I wish u the very best.... and ur bf should know that having a gf is wrong..maybe he might like to go over his religion before he shows u anything. smile.gif

all the best smile.gif

Thank you so much for helping me friends i really appreciate it. I know some of you came at me a little strong but its okay i understand. Maybe if i say a little more about my life you would understand me. Im learning Islam because i really want to. No only because i have a bf who is Muslim. To be honest i have never been religious because i dont agree with my family religion which is catholic and i also tried to go to a christian church and i did not like it either. But now that learning the Muslim religion i really love it. The big reason why i love it its because the book has never been changed the wording is the same to me that is valuable. I have read parts of the Qur'an i dont own one yet because i have not converted. Is that okay? Sorry its not to offend anyone im just trying to learn as i go. I do own a Textbook that explains the religion. But i dont know if i can own the Holy Qur'an since i have not been cleanse. Am i right or wrong?

Thank you so much. I appreciate you understanding me and not judging me right away. You made me feel so much better than other responses i got. Well no i have not meet them yet. He would like to wait a lil bit longer since we have been getting to know eachother for 6 months only. But he already said he loves me and i love him so much. We get along so well its amazing. What do you think? Is it too soon to meet his parents? Yes im loving Islam im actualy going to buy my first Hijab tonight and he will help me choose one. I cant wait to wear it and go to the Mosque for the first time. Im so excited and i know i will love it too.

Well I’m glad that I made you feel better biggrin.gif I just believe every person needs couple other chances to prove her/himself smile.gif

I’m so happy for your progress!! Hijabs are such a cool thing lool.. it makes you look so special! Many people compliments my colorful hijabs all the time. It makes me feel so good biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Umm I’m not sure if 6 months are too short or too long.. I think u r ok.. lol.. one of my friend’s met her bfs’ parents just a month after they knew each other.. that was too soon.. but I think it doesn’t really matter how long.. but relationship wise I think 6 months is a short time to determine love.. just get to know him more.. & as my friend says make sure he pays his bills lool..

and yah, when you first go to the mosque don’t get self conscious or sensitive.. even if people stare at you because they stare at everyone. When I first went to our mosque here I told my ex that I didn’t want to step there again although am Muslim. But when I went back again some different people welcomed me & I’ve been going there since then smile.gif

bty, if you need help with Hijab cloths or styles don’t hesitate to ask, the sisters and I will be happy to help you.. & it may seem hard at first, but it gets better smile.gif
