In the next few minutes you are going to hear the greatest news that you have ever heard in your whole life! First I have a question for you. If you were to die today, do you think you would go to heaven? If your answer is "I am not sure" or "I do not know if there is heaven", this is your day! Do you think the bible is all about religious rules and rituals to keep and obey? Then you are missing the whole point. These are all secondary and minor issues. The most important purpose of the bible is to show us that we are not finished by death and that there is eternal life. "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life"(1 John 5:13).

First of all the good news is that this eternal life is a free gift from God, and is not what we work for or earn by good works. In fact the most precious things in life such as air, Sun light and our very life are all gifts from God or parents, for which we do not even pay a penny. "The gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). My point will be much more clear to you when we understand who we are and who God is. The bible says we are all sinners. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). God looks into the root cause of sin, not just its result, namely, greed for stealing, hatred for murder, lust for adultery and so on. Sin in thought is the same as sin in deed to God. Because we are all sinners, we cannot save ourselves. A drowning person cannot rescue himself no matter how hard he struggles. On the other hand, the bible says that God is loving and gracious so that he wants to give all of us the eternal life as a gift. "God is love" (1 John 4:8). But the same bible also says that he is just and righteous so that the appropriate consequence of sin must be paid. "Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished" (Exodus 34:7). "For the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23) God loves us but has to punish us because of our sin, and because of his justice and righteousness, creating a dilemma for God. He solved this problem in Jesus Christ.

God laid on Jesus all our sins and punished him on our behalf to spare us from the punishment. "He bore the sin of many" (Isaiah 53:12). "He was crushed for our iniquities" (Isaiah 53:5)". Christ in our place, as our substitute, paid the penalty for our sin, providing us the way to eternal life that is reserved for those whose sin is cleared for good. Now God did all his part, and the rest is ours. A great feast of eternal life was already prepared and ready for us, and it is us who decide to pick up the food and eat it. We receive this wonderful gift of eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son (as a sacrifice for our sins) that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). With Jesus in your heart you are about to experience an incredible transformation from a caterpillar to a butterfly. You will fly high into the world of joy, thanks and freedom forever, which you were born for and which you deserve. Are you hungry for true excitement and joy? Are you hungry for a fulfilled life? Do you want to live like a butterfly instead of a caterpillar? There is a hope. Your best days are still right in front of you with Jesus Christ. Most of all, you were born for much better than who you are now. You are the focus of God's mighty love. You deserve much better than who you are now.

If you want to ask me a question privately, you are very welcome to send me your email at truthfinder0@gmail.com.

I beg to differ. Allah is never in a dilema as to what to do. That is a human trait. Allah offered free will to the creations, but only man took it. Man is at odds with many things, but never Allah.

The Bible says: "(Deuteronomy 24:16) - "Fathers shall not be put to death for their sons, nor shall sons be put to death for their fathers; everyone shall be put to death for his own sin."

CONTRADICTION?? B.(Deuteronomy 5:9) - "You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me,"

Allah says: 6:164 Say: "Am I, then, to seek a sustainer other than God, when He is the Sustainer of all things?" And whatever [wrong] any human being commits rests upon himself alone; and no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden.

17:15 Whoever chooses to follow the right path, follows it but for his own good; and whoever goes astray. goes but astray to his own hurt; and no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another" burden.

We are all responsible for our own sins, "IF" Jesus did for our sins, then just why are we still sinning? Do you think that if someone took the responsibility for all my sins that I would keep sinning...you bet I would. Which is what people are still doing today as well as back then.

When people know that they will be held accountable for what they do, most would try to do good and not sin, Others will continue to sin and think about repenting at the last minute. Yes there will be an eternal life for most people as well as death.

I accept Christ as just a Prophet and a man of miraculous birth. But Allah is the only one Who forgives sin, grant Heaven or Hell and removes sins and burdens. No one knows his destiny in this world but Allah. We can live our best, but the ultimate knower is Allah.

When we say "Accepting Jesus as the Saviour and Lord", it does not mean we receive Jesus as a human prophet. It means we receive Him as the one who forgives our sins. There is only one in the universe who has authority to forgive our sins: God Himself! The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, "Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?" (Luke 5:21) Please remember these religious leaders at the time knew the law of Moses much better than you. By the implication of what Jesus said and more importantly what Jesus did, they knew very well that Jesus was claiming to be God. Let us see Jesus as He really is, namely, He is both God and man, instead of using the familiar arguments, "This part of the Bible was corrupted!" In fact this is one of the greatest sins and mistakes you make, namely, not seeing God as He really is but seeing God as a few lines of your religious rules and traditions are! The infinite God cannot be defined by a few lines. The infinite God waits to be explored and known more by His creatures. The infinitely gracious God is not offended by honest questions and doubt of His tiny creatures. He is not like a brutal dictator who does not even allow different views, who does not even permit honest questions, who is easily offended by different opinions, who threatens people with fear of punishment, and who waits to punish people whenever they disobey him. Do not live in a prison of religious rules and traditions, in a prison

Now that is funny!! You just contradicted yourself...again! People believe that Jesus forgives their sins and the bible plainly tells them that God is the ONLY One Who forgives sin...and just why would anyone want to believe in religious leaders who as you said knew that Jesus was claiming to be god? When Jesus himself never made such a claim?

Allah is never seen in just a few lines, a whole volume maybe, but never just a few lines. I have never read where Allah is offended by people asking honest questions.

Brutal dictator!? God or Muhammad(PBUH)? In either case, thousands of people a day would not be taking Shahadah and becoming Muslim would they?

Boy you sure do have your Islamic facts backwards.

QUOTE: " who threatens people with fear of punishment, and who waits to punish people whenever they disobey".

Who are you referring to? If you are talking about God(ALLAH), did he leave this out of the bible as well?

1. I John 3:15
V15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

2. Deuteronomy 22:25
V25 But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die:

3. Matthew 12:36-37
V36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
V37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

4. See Deuteronomy 16, Leviticus 26:29, Numbers 5, Romans 5:12 and many others.

I do not see these as threats from God, just as facts as to what He will do to mankind, Muslim, Christian, or otherwise. And FYI many religions live by God's rules and laws as well as traditions...and yes even Christians, I used to be one. So here we all are... living in a "prison" of rules. And I thank God for all of His rules.

Are you a religious person or a spiritual person? A religious person is the one who is concerned about keeping religious rules, rituals and traditions out of duty, out of fear of punishment. To them these formalities are more important than human lives. Duty and fear of punishment are the driving force of their actions. Guilt and fear are their suppressed and hidden emotions. To them the heart of the matter is the matter of religion, nothing else. But a spiritual person is the one who is concerned about having an intimate loving relationship with the Creator of the universe and his very own soul. To them human lives are the most precious thing in the universe except the Creator, because He created them. Love and thanks are the driving force of their actions. Freedom and joy are their overflowing and open emotions. To them the heart of the matter is the matter of heart.

For a religious person, performing rituals itself (often blindly and mechanically) is important because it is required by the religious law. But for a spiritual person, performing rituals without meaning and heart is nothing because it is motivated by its meaning and heart. Do not be confused with heart and emotions. The heart is an integral part of who we are as human beings, not just emotions. Human beings without heart (heart of love and compassion for other human beings) are like animals and machines. A religious person is a slave of the religious rules, rituals and traditions, and these formalities control him. But a spiritual person is a slave of only the Creator and controls the formalities as just useful tools. Are you religious or spiritual?

Good Afternoon!

I am an English Christian and I feel what it comes down to is who you personally think the historical Jesus Christ was?

Is he who he clearly says he is in the bible over and over again? Is the Bible a load of rubbish or as you might say trash? Did Jesus lie? Or is there a completely new gospel we should listen to??

It's a choice we all have to make and its so important for all of us because our immortal souls depend on it!

For me the Bible is the infallable word of God and I think that God protects his word and so I trust in the Bible totally. I am going to put in a link to a site which shows many bibles so you can compare them side by side if you want to so you can check any of my quotes are in the bible. I tend to quote the NIV or the ESV but You can flick through many versions very easily on this site if you choose.

The bible comparison site

Also Jesus changed some of the rules of the old testament and gave us a new covenant. For me Jesus is God so thats ok for me! Its blasphemy for Muslims and it was considered so by the Jewish people in his time too which is why the bible says he was executed. For a Jew to go around forgiving sins, rasing the dead and claiming to be God sounded outrageous. It is though isn't it? Its an amazing and shocking claim and he says he is God and accepts the title from others in the bible many many times. Was he mad? A liar or what? Or do we need to turn to a completely new gospel other than the Bible?

In the Bible Jesus does many things to indicate who he is. It is not just in his words but in his actions he shows that he is God over and over again. He also says he is God. If we read the book with an open mind I think it's very clear.

Mark 8:27

He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter replied, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." And Jesus answered him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

Mark 14 chapter 60-65;

Again the high priest asked him "Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed one?"
"I am" said Jesus. "And you will see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty one and coming on the clouds of heaven."

Jesus answers 'I am' many times in the bible when he is asked who he is. This is important because in the Torah in Exodus 3 it says:

'Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, 'What is his name?' Then what shall I tell them?"

God said to Moses, "I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I am has sent me to you.'"

In John 20:25-29 Thomas doubts that anyone has really seen Jesus alive after his crucifixion:

But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it."

A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe."

Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!"

Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

The Old testament Prophet Zachariah wrote that that someone with salvation would arrive in Jerusalem/Zion on a colt please read link:

Zechariah 9:9:

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!
Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem!
Behold, your king is coming to you;
righteous and having salvation is he,
humble and mounted on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey

Jesus fulfilled this deliberately by arriving in Jerusalem on the colt of a donkey. Please see link.

Mark 11

Mark 1:11:

And a voice came from Heaven 'you are my beloved son who I love and with whom I am well pleased.'

John 20:25:19 says:

"Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it."

Luke 5:17-20 One day as he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law, who had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem, were sitting there. And the power of the Lord was present for him to heal the sick. Some men came carrying a paralytic on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.

When Jesus saw their faith, he said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven."

The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, "Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?"

Mark 8:33 This is my beloved son listen to him

In John 11:25 Jesus says:

"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
"Yes, Lord," she told him, "I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world."

Luke 4:14:21
"Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the spirit, and news about him spread through the countryside. He taught in the synagogues, and everyone praised him.

He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went to a synagogue, as he was his custom. And he stood up to read. The scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:

The Spirit of the Lord is on me
because he has anointed me
to preach the good news to the poor
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for
the prisoners
and recovery for the sight of the bind
to release the oppressed,
to proclaim the year of the Lord's
favor.

Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him, and he began by saying to them 'Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.'" The Jews listening were very angry. Jesus quotes over and over again from the old testament in the new testament.

Isaiah 61 to prove Jesus is quoting from the old Testament

Jesus says he came to fulfill that prophecy with his own lips. The choice of if you choose to accept him as God who he claims he is again and again through words and his actions is yours.

I believe that Jesus behaves with Gods authority and power. But the choice of what you believe is yours alone.

The bible does not need anyone to defend it because it speaks for it self like a roaring lion! Truly it does and I challenge you to open it up and read it! As for its corruption because it has been translated well pick up two versions and read them side by side yourself! I do not need to defend Gods word he does that perfectly well without my help!

The next point made is difficult simply because it is not my intention to upset anyone.
I type these words with compassion in my heart and tears in my eyes. These are NOT my words these are the words of the Holy Bible:

Galatians 1:6 (The author of this letter is Paul and it is about a first century church who are still following old testament rituals, especially circumcision. In this letter Paul is saying that faith in Christ is what matters.)

"I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel- which is no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be eternally condemned. As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted let him be eternally condemned!'

Proof this is in the bible
The words are not mine. I am not attempting to score points or to be nasty. Muslims are quite right when they say the Bible is a dangerous document. It changes lives and that makes it powerful.

I expect to pick up my cross and follow Jesus and by that I mean I expect to be hated and punished for my faith . Jesus talks about this in John 15:18-21

"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me.'

Thanks for giving me the chance to talk about Jesus Christ Truth Finder! It has been my pleasure!

May God bless you

Nicky
