I know I'm violating my own rules by using the announcements for personal purposes, but this is really important.

My close friend, Shayaan Chowdhury, was the victim of a drunk driving accident recently and currently has no blood circulating through his head, aka brain dead. I beg everyone with all my heart to please pray for him, and ask for your family to pray for him.

He isn't dead yet, but he is very close. Only Allah can bring him back. Please pray.

His full name is Shayaan Rahim Chowdhury.

may allah give him shifa'ah, or if it's his time to go, take him with islam in his heart, and grant him the highest of stations in jannah.

i recommend a salah called wahshat. it helps one in the grave. the best thing we can do is pray.

im not sure if sunni's believe in salat wahshat but it's a two rakah salah in which ayatul kursi is in one rakah and another surah. said for the person.

We inform with deep sorrow that on the 21^st of May 2008 Shayaan had left us all just at the age of 19, leaving his parents and his sister all alone in this wide world as well as his other family members, friends and his well wishers.

It took lots of courage for Shayaan to fight his undue destiny but Shayaan being a brave one, did try to conquer the destiny and fought bravely, but the destiny was already decided and apparently he had to leave us all.

He was brought back to his home land “Bangladesh” on 1^st of June 2008 at 12:10 AM and was taken to his village Katthulli, Chittagong on the same day and was berried at his family grave yard. We pray that may his soul rest in peace.

Once again we appreciate for being so generous and kind to be with us trough your prayers. We now ask you all to pray that may our dearest Shayaan rest in peace and may Allah give his parents and his sister the strength to over come the loss. Though this is some loss that can never be replaced or overcome but still do pray.

I've spoken about a girl i knew and had the same tutor as me. She snuck out with some dudes and died instantly the dude driving survived however despite being drunk in all. She just died just like that.
