Hello everyone, I have been wanting to revert to Islam for a while now but am unsure on how to do so, I have no Muslim friends and I live in the Bronx, NY, Should I just find a Mosque and hope that they would welcome me because I have heard that Mosques in New York can be unfriendly to new Muslims, are there any New York Muslims on the forum that could give me some information on where to go in the city. I know of the Islamic cultural center in Manhattan but have never been there, is that the right place to go?

he'll be able to help. Also, I have a friend residing in New York city and from what I can recall, she is in touch with the Manhattan Islamic center you made mention of, so I'll get back to you once I've acquired more info off her.
