That's a breakthrough indeed.

But I wouldn't be surprised if they'd cut into the root of the matter deeper and deeper and dig out the fact that the other side broke the ceasefire first, or had done something, to have caused this... and this investigation could go on and so forth.

It really matters on how different people interpret an 'attack'. It can be argued that the Israeli blockade in Gaza was a form of 'attack', because it's possible to wrongfully seize a population without engaging in physical combat or any fighting whatsoever. Furthermore, the ratio of attacks between Hamas and Israel consequently holds the loss of families and the population at large in more importance than who broke the ceasefire - but that's not to say the root cause is not important, only not as important.

At the moment or a little while ago both sides halted attacks for 3 hours to allow in humanitarian aid for the Gazans, but what will 3 hours solve? The deaths are absolutely high in numbers and aid is a requisite of one too many.
