QUOTE(Randolph @ Mar 22 2011, 07:29 PM)

Many Muslims insist that the helper, comforter, paraclete(Greek)
in John 14,15,16 refers to Mohammed. What do you think?
"And I (Jesus) will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Helper,
that He may abide with you forever -- the Spirit of truth …
… you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you (as the Holy Spirit).
… And We (God) will come to him (the believer) and make Our home with him.
… But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name,
He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."
(John 14:16--26)
The Greek word here for "another" is "allos" meaning "another of the same kind".
"But when the Helper comes, whom I (Jesus) shall send to you from the Father,
the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me."
(John 15:26)
"But now I (Jesus) go away to Him (Father God) who sent Me …
It is to your advantage that I go away;
for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you;
but if I depart, I will send Him to you. … when He, the Spirit of truth, has come,
He will guide you into all truth …"
(John 16:5-13)
Also notice how the 3 Persons of the Triune God are almost interchangeable!
And there are many other verses which reveal this.
For example, Isaiah 9:6 calls Jesus "Almighty God, Everlasting Father".
All of this is total unbelievable nonsense, as is the gospel of Christ.
If anyone is curious about WHY, I have a short article which explains it.
Hi Randolph,
I am curious to know...WHY?
